About The Pines
Whilst keeping many original features including open fires and exposed beams The Pines, built in
1825, has recently been refurbished to the highest standards. We have three en suite bedrooms
with everything you would expect from a high class bed and breakfast including free access to Wi-Fi.
One of our rooms has a four poster bed and each are named after famous women with a Derbyshire
connection – Bess of Hardwick, Florence Nightingale and Vivienne Westwood.

With a walled drive and wisteria covered frontage our detached stone guest house has a well
established garden with a giant Sequoia pine tree, pond, various statues and a variety of birds
that visit us all year round.

There are wonderful walks from our front door with beautiful views along rivers and dales.
Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are a short drive away.

The two village public houses in Darley Bridge serve very good meals and are in easy walking distance. The Peacock Hotel and East Lodge Hotel, in nearby Rowsley, offer excellent meals as do many other local restaurants and pubs in Winster, Matlock and Bakewell.

Our guesthouse is small and personal and you can expect an extremely warm welcome from your
friendly host Cheryl who successfully ran a Bed and Breakfast in nearby Rowsley for 18 years.

With comfort, serenity and relaxation in mind at The Pines, we pride ourselves on making you
feel at home.

If you would like to find out more before booking, please phone and we will be happy to answer
your questions.
